Megas — Child Sexual Abuse & Exploitation (CSAE) Policy

Megas is a social platform designed to help people connect and share. Protecting children from sexual abuse and exploitation is a core responsibility we take extremely seriously. This page sets out the standards Megas follows to prevent, detect, and respond to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on our service.
Megas maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any form of child sexual exploitation. Content that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits minors is prohibited and will be removed immediately upon detection.
Users must be at least 13 years of age to create a Megas account (16 years in jurisdictions where required). Accounts belonging to users below the applicable minimum age are permanently removed upon discovery.
Any user can report suspected CSAE content or behavior through the in-app report button on posts, stories, messages, and profiles, or by emailing megas.app1@gmail.com. All CSAE reports are prioritized and reviewed promptly by our trust and safety team.
Megas uses a combination of proactive detection and human review to identify suspected CSAE content. When confirmed, the content is removed and the responsible account is terminated. Where applicable, reports are forwarded to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement.
Megas complies with all applicable child-protection laws, including U.S. SESTA/FOSTA, COPPA, and regional child-safety regulations in the markets we serve. We cooperate fully with lawful requests from authorities investigating CSAE.
