•Account deletion: you can delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes your profile and content.
Data Retention
•We keep your information for as long as your account is active.
•When you delete your account, we remove your profile and personal data from our active systems within a reasonable period.
•Some information may be retained in backups or logs for a limited time as required by law or for security purposes.
•Disappearing messages are deleted automatically based on the timer you set (24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days).
Data Security
•We protect your information with encryption in transit and at rest.
•Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel who need it to operate or protect the service.
•We regularly review our security practices to safeguard against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
Children's Safety
•Megas is not intended for children under 13 (16 in some regions).

•Accounts belonging to underage users are removed upon discovery.
